Lincoln Days Parade

Welcome to the Official Site of the Lincoln Days Parade

On February 12, 1809, Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin in Larue County, Kentucky, about 3 miles south of the City of Hodgenville. Every year, the citizens of Hodgenville and Larue County gather together to celebrate our favorite son's birth, life, presidency, and, most important, his legacy during the Lincoln Days Celebration. One of the highlights of this festival is the Lincoln Days parade, which begins every year at 2:00 P.M. on the afternoon of the second Saturday in October.

It is the committee's earnest hope that you will take the time to participate in the parade. Whether, building or riding on a float, entering a car, walking with a group, playing in a band, or watching from the street, our goal is to help you feel a little closer to the community we call home.
